Megashop is a mobile app that makes shopping for jackets simple and fun. You can easily browse different styles, see all the available colors and sizes, and read reviews from other customers. Once you find the perfect jacket, you can quickly add it to your cart and check out. Megashop makes it easy to shop for jackets anytime, anywhere, right from your phone.

As the UI Designer for the Megashop project, my role was to create a visually appealing and user-friendly interface for the app. I designed the app’s layout, color scheme, typography, and icons to ensure a seamless shopping experience. My deliverables included high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and a complete design system to guide the development team in bringing the app to life.
One of the primary design challenges was ensuring the app’s layout was responsive across various devices, including smartphones and tablets. I created flexible UI components that could adapt to different screen sizes without losing functionality or aesthetic quality. I also focused on accessibility by choosing high-contrast color schemes and ensuring that all text was legible. For instance, I adjusted font sizes and weights for different text elements using Quicksand in semi-bold, light, and regular styles to enhance readability and hierarchy.
I was heavily involved in conducting usability tests with interactive prototypes. During these sessions, we observed users as they navigated through the app, performed tasks such as searching for a jacket, adding it to the cart, and completing a purchase. This testing phase was crucial in identifying any usability issues or areas where users struggled. For example, we discovered that users preferred a larger ‘Add to Cart’ button, which I then redesigned to be more prominent and accessible.
The Megashop project was a significant learning opportunity for me. I advanced my skills in responsive design and became more proficient with Figma, pushing the boundaries of conventional UI design. I focused on creating a user-friendly and accessible interface, incorporating feedback to refine and improve the app. By iterating on key features and enhancing usability, I was able to deliver a smoother and more intuitive shopping experience. Overall, this project contributed to my growth as a designer and prepared me to tackle future challenges more effectively.
